“When determining how community property is divided, factors such as who made the down payments, who covered mortgage costs, and who paid for renovations will be heavily considered,” Lovell said.

“If Jennifer contributed more financially, this could complicate the process of splitting the asset.”

Ben Affleck reportedly moved out of the mansion following their separation in April, but discussions over how to divide the property remain tense.

Negotiations between the former couple have been ongoing for months, with both sides reportedly standing their ground.
