Gisele Bundchen cried while discussing her divorce from NFL Super Bowl champion Tom Brady, as the Victoria’s Secret model talked about her new experiences as a single parent

Gisele Bundchen became emotional and was shown crying when discussing her divorce from Tom Brady in a recent trailer for her tell-all interview with Robin Roberts, released on March 7.

Bundchen’s conversation was billed as “Climbing the Mountain: A Conversation with Robin Roberts” and aired on ABC and Hulu. During the interview, Bundchen sat down for an emotional discussion regarding her split from Brady and what it’s like to co-parent with her former husband.

When asked how she was doing, Gisele took a deep breath and turned her face away from the camera. She apologized to the film crew and asked for a moment as she teared up before explaining her split and navigating being a single mom.

“It’s definitely a transition that had to take place, and it’s, not something that you [wish for.] But I think sometimes in life, things happen and I feel so blessed because I had incredible experiences, I learned so much, I have my children which are the biggest blessings in my life,” she said. “Now I get to create a new chapter in my life,” she added. “I get to learn new things and to walk my path in a different way. There are easier days than others, but it’s amazing that the kids just adapt.”

Brady and Bundchen confirmed their divorce on October 2022, after thirteen years of marriage. The couple shared that the split was mutual and that their children would remain the top priority in their lives.

Tabloid speculation suggested that Brady had allegedly “accepted” that Bundchen’s relationship with her new boyfriend, Joaquim Valente, began while they were still together. Bundchen previously addressed rumors about her relationship with the instructor in a March 2023 Vanity Fair cover story, refuting any romantic involvement.

“He’s our teacher and, most importantly, he’s a person that I admire and that I trust. It’s so good to have that kind of energy, to have my kids around that type of energy,” she said.. “I think, at this point, unfortunately, because I’m divorced, I’m sure that they’re going to try to attach me to anything. I’m so grateful to know all of [the Valente brothers], because not only have they helped me and helped my kids, but they have become great friends, and Joaquim especially.”

Following their divorce, Brady has been rumored to have been romantically linked with several high profile names, including Russian model Irina Shayk. The pair were spotted together last December in Miami, where Brady was shown picking her up in his car.

Before that encounter, Brady and Shayk were reunited in his Rolls Royce, traveling to his Los Angeles residence last July. Close observers noted that Brady repeated this action the following day, with Shayk still wearing the outfit from the previous night.
