Gisele Bundchen was told to ‘get a sense of humor’ after she expressed her disappointment over The Roast of Tom Brady on Sunday.

During the live Netflix event, participants naturally gravitated toward Brady and Bundchen’s divorce while flaming the 7-time Super Bowl winner. Some brought up Bundchen’s relationship with her Jiu-Jitsu coach, Joaquim Valente, and claimed they had an affair before her divorce with the quarterback.

After the three-hour special, a source told Page Six that the supermodel was ‘deeply disappointed by the disrespectful portrayal of her family on Sunday evening’s roast show.’

On Wednesday, an unnamed insider told Page Six how the jokes were all ‘in good fun’ and pointed out how Bundchen needs to get a sense of humor.

While jokes about Brady and Bundchen’s kids were deemed off-limits, the source added how the retired NFL star and other participants had no idea what would be said about them. However, as with any roast, they would target public parts of each other’s lives.

Bundchen and Brady were together for 16 years and married for 13 with two children before their divorce in 2022. The split came after Brady unretired to play one more season with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

According to Page Six, the source noted that Bundchen felt hurt by Brady ‘once again putting football before his family.’

One of the jokes made at her expense during the roast at the Kia Forum was Kevin Hart suggesting she had an affair with Valente while still married to Brady.

‘You sometimes got to f*** your coach,’ Hart quipped. ‘You know who else f***ed their coach? Gisele. She f***ed that karate man.’

A production source told Page Six that Bundchen ‘shouldn’t have been making out with her Jiu-Jitsu instructor in the middle of the street’ if she wanted to keep her relationship private. The quote references Bundchen and Valente’s public display of affection in Miami in February.

Comedian Kevin Hart joked that Bundchen had an affair with Valente while married to Brady

The source added that it was ‘fair game’ for the former Victoria’s Secret Angel’s new romance to be used as material against Brady.

Bundchen was not the only one of Brady’s exes to catch strays during the Roast, as comedian Nikki Glaser referred to his breakup with actress Bridget Moynahan while she was pregnant with their son Jack in 2006.

While talking about Brady’s first and second retirement from the NFL, Glaser said: ‘It’s hard to walk away from something that isn’t your pregnant girlfriend.’

Brady and Bundchen’s camps did not immediately return Pag Six’s requests for comment.
