Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady is eligible for free agency for just the second time in his career. And if he decides to continue playing in 2023, there will be no shortage of teams interested in his services.

It’s widely believed that Brady will end up leaving the Bucs following a disappointing 8-9 season that saw them fall 31-14 to the Dallas Cowboys on Super Wild Card Weekend.

ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler spoke to several NFL executives to gather their predictions on how the offseason will play out. According to Fowler, the Las Vegas Raiders think that Brady “would consider” signing with them:
“This one’s been telegraphed since the end of the season — it’s now the worst-kept secret that Las Vegas would have interest in signing Brady.

A few teams I’ve spoken to expect Brady to retire. But should he play, the Raiders believe they are one of about three teams that he would consider. Tampa Bay isn’t out of it yet, though Brady appeared to say his goodbyes to the media in his last news conference with the team following the playoff loss to Dallas.”
One AFC offensive coach told Fowler, “I just think with the weapons they have and the familiarity with Josh McDaniels’ offense and the people there, it would be a seamless transition for him.”

Aside from his knowledge with McDaniels, Brady would have the luxury of playing in Nevada, which offers no state tax. He’d have a plethora of playmakers around him in Davante Adams, Hunter Renfrow, Darren Waller and 2022 rushing champion Josh Jacobs, should Vegas manage to retain him.

Brady hasn’t yet announced if he’ll retire, play elsewhere or return to the Buccaneers in 2023. His initial retirement last 40 days before he announced his plans to return to the Bucs for his 23rd NFL season.
