Speculation has been rife that Ben Affleck could be professionally reuniting with his ex-wife Jennifer Garner following news that she was confirmed to reprise her role as Elektra in Deadpool 3.

And while it has yet to be announced whether Ben will also reprise his role of Daredevil, which he played opposite Garner in the 2003 film of the same name, it seems as though his wife Jennifer Lopez is already having some reservations about it.

In fact, the Hustlers star, 53, has reportedly dished out a set of rules for Ben to follow when working with the mother of three children.

“J.Lo already has a list of rules for when Ben’s working, but she’ll be adding a few more should he go ahead and film a cameo alongside Jen,” a source said.

“Elektra is Daredevil’s love interest, so she’s making sure there are no ‘just like old times’ moments between them.”

Despite former Alias star Jennifer being in a long-term relationship with John Miller, it was added that the Love Don’t Cost A Thing hitmaker was taking no risks.

“J.Lo wants 24/7 access to the set and to be able to drop in unannounced,” the source continued to Woman’s Day. “There are to be no promo joint interviews and or photoshoots, and no after-work socialising. She wants Ben home as soon as he’s done filming.”

This comes after Jennifer wrote an emotional ballad to Ben called Midnight Trip to Vegas to celebrate the place where they got married.

They later threw a huge A-List bash with all their pals, and through the medium of her song lyrics, Jen reveals the pair were “drowning” in plans for their huge ceremony when Ben whispered to her: “We can disappear tonight.”

The couple, who rekindled their relationship in 2021 after splitting 20 years earlier, decided to “do something crazy”. So they ditched the chaos of wedding planning to drive to Vegas with their kids – they have five between them – in a pink Cadillac and “didn’t tell a soul”.
