Actress Jennifer Garner is a women of many talents and she showed off a very unexpected one this week as she whipped out her impressive saxophone skills for a sweet birthday message to Reese Witherspoon.

This week, the Family Switch star took to Instagram sharing a little outdoor concert for her Hollywood bestie in celebration of her 48th birthday. In the video, the 51-year-old star played expertly handled the woodwind instrument playing a smooth jazz tune while snaps of her famous friend popped up overtop of the clip. In the birthday shoutout, glamorous solo snaps of the Legally Blonde star were flashed in addition to adorable moments of the pair throughout their nearly 20-year-long friendship.

In the birthday shoutout posted for the Jennifer’s 15.8 million followers to see, the former 13 Going on 30 star wrote: “Two things I love: @reesewitherspoon and smooth jazz. Happy birthday, RW! XX.”

In the video, Jennifer not only showed off her lesser-known talent she also showed off her incredible sense of fashion. Jennifer sported the perfect spring outfit for the solo act as she was seen in a flattering short-sleeve black turtleneck, light blue capris, dark black sunglasses, and basic black loafers. Her straight brunette bob was wore down in the clip with the sun shining on her as she showed off her musical skills.

Reese took to the comments of the thoughtful post and wrote: “C’mon now, Garner ! Making us all smile” followed by a happy face emoji. Others took to the comments complimenting the performance and Jennifer’s seemingly endless list of talents. One fan wrote: “Is there anything you can’t do!?!!!” And another added: “Crazy impressive!!!!!!” And a third wrote: “What does this amazing woman not know how to do.” Someone else commented: “I aspire to be more like this woman every day.”

This post is keeping up with tradition as Jennifer has previously pulled out her saxophone skills for Reeses’ birthday before. Back in 2018, Jennifer took to Instagram dressing up in her official band uniform complete complete with a big hat as she sang a rendition of A Groovy Kind Of Love by Phil Collins for her best friend’s special day. Back then she shed light on how this hidden talent came to be as she captioned the video: “Many moons ago, my high school marching band played this song for homecoming. Today I play it for my boo, @reesewitherspoon. We have a groovy kind of love. Happy birthday, Lady.”
