Reese is excited to be on the same team as Clark

Despite many suggesting that the pair don’t really get on, as seen by some of their on-court collisions, Reese was clear that she is excited to finally be on the same team as Caitlin Clark.

“It’s going to be really cool,” Reese said.

“I know so many fans are going to come out to watch both of us.

“I know a lot of people are going to be able to come to Phoenix. I’m sure it’s already sold out. We’re going to be playing together for a while, so it’s not gonna be the last time. I know we’ll be All-Stars again. Hopefully 2028, we’ll be Olympians together, too.”

Reese also revealed her plans to watch the Summer Olympics in Paris. The WNBA will take a break after the All-Star Game on July 20 and resume on August 15.

Reese and Clark will renew their rivalry when the league resumes after the Olympics, competing for the Rookie of the Year Award. Despite the competition, Reese maintains her focus on the playoffs.

“My teammates always say stuff about it, but I really try to have tunnel vision and focus on what the thing is,” she remarked.

“Getting into the playoffs is something I want to do.”
