In a world of social distancing, Jennifer Garner knew just how to make her personal assistant feel special on Thursday.

After posting a gushing birthday tribute to Maureen Grosser on Instagram, the 47-year-old actress arranged for some of her pals to drive by her house to sing happy birthday from their cars.

Jennifer was pictured cheering on her friends while holding a glass of red wine on the street outside her Pacific Palisades home.

Maureen, wearing a geometric design sweater and high waist jeans, couldn’t stop smiling as she watched the show, while also sipping on a glass of wine.

The Peppermint actress is holed up at home like everyone else in Los Angeles amid widespread shutdowns to stop the spread of coronavirus.

She revealed on Instagram on Thursday that Maureen has been staying with her during the lockdown while paying tribute to her pal who she affectionately refers to as ‘Mosie’.

‘On my good days, people ask if we’re sisters, but more often than I care to admit—the assumption is mother/daughter. We aren’t actually related —but I’ll claim her.’ Jennifer began her post.

The actress credited Maureen for helping her stay organized and being her travel buddy, as well as helping her with her Instagram content.

‘People ask what social media company I use—well, I sit in the excellent company of @mogrosser, noodling on ideas, and edits, and captions, playing to our morphed-into-one funny bone.

She ended the gushing tribute writing, ‘Mo isn’t one to want attention, but she’s in lockup with me at my crazy house and it’s her birthday. Plus it’s time I post something without her approval, for crying out loud. Happy birthday, Mosie, we are lucky to have you here with us, today and always. We love you.’
