Ben Affleck appeared downcast while heading into work on Monday as he continues to hold off filing for divorce from his wife, Jennifer Lopez, to spare her the embarrassment.

The “Argo” star was photographed without his wedding ring as he drove to the set of one of his forthcoming films in Los Angeles.

After arriving, Affleck kept his head down while holding his usual iced coffee in one hand and hauling a large leather bag over his shoulder.

He kept it casual, wearing a T-shirt, tan pants, sneakers and a baseball cap.

The actor’s sighting comes as Lopez landed back in the City of Angels after spending the past month in the Hamptons without her husband.

It’s unclear if the “On the Floor” songstress and Affleck have reunited as sources told us Monday that she is “furious” and “humiliated” over their separation.

“He has humiliated her,” an insider told us. “He was the one who initiated getting back together.”

The “Gone Girl” star and Lopez famously rekindled their romance in July 2021 after previously dating from 2002 to 2004 when they met on the set of “Gigli.”

They quickly rushed to the altar and eloped in Las Vegas in July 2022 before hosting a larger celebration at Affleck’s Georgia estate the following month.

“He’s humiliated her because she made a big deal that he’s the love of her life,” the source continued. “They just had two weddings two years ago. This is some kind of a record, they’re not young kids.”

The insider added that Lopez is “very romantic,” noting that her relationship with Affleck inspired her “This Is Me…Now” album and her documentary, “The Greatest Love Story Never Told.”

“She has not fully accepted it is over,” we’re told.

Over the weekend, the ringless pop star was photographed shopping for a new Beverly Hills, Calif., mansion after she and Affleck put their $68 million shared home on the market last month.

While the couple haven’t publicly announced their split, rumors of their separation heightened as they spent their second wedding anniversary apart and Lopez hosted a 50th birthday bash, which Affleck didn’t attend.

According to TMZ, they are no longer in contact as their business managers hash out the details of their divorce.
