A source spoke to Us Weekly about Jennifer’s take on the Bennifer drama, and said “Jennifer Garner is encouraging Ben to work on his marriage to Jen. She fully supports their relationship and wants nothing more than for him to be happy.” The source added that Jen Garner knows the spotlight “can put a strain” on relationships.

This update comes amid reports that Ben has been supporting his ex amid the loss of her father, who passed away in March.

A source told Entertainment Tonight at the time that Ben was “actively involved” with Jen and was “checking in on her and making sure she knows he is there for her since her dad’s passing. It was the kids’ grandfather and Ben and him always got along. He considered him family and always will.”
