Kris Jenner shared the story about the time she left behind Kendall and Kylie Jenner while out Christmas tree shopping.

During this week’s episode of The Kardashians, the 68-year-old confessed to her daughters Kim Kardashian, 43, and Khloe Kardashian, 39, about the faux pas.

As soon as Kim got into the car to head to her birthday party, she exclaimed, ‘Don’t you hate when you leave the house and forget to say bye to your kids? I just forgot.’

Kris chimed in, ‘Yeah, I’ve done that before,’ before Khloe quipped, ‘I’ve never done that.’

The momager surprised her older daughters by admitting to them, ‘I’ve left my kids over at the Christmas tree lot and forgot to bring them with me.’

In a confessional, Kris detailed the hilarious incident, explaining that she and her spouse at the time, Caitlyn Jenner, had driven separately to the tree farm and got their signals crossed regarding who would be taking the girls home.

‘We went to go buy a Christmas tree, I think Kendall and Kylie were like 4 and 5 and they were running up and down and I thought their dad was watching the kids,’ the media mogul recalled. ‘And he thought I was watching the kids because we met there. I thought he was taking the kids back and he thought I was taking the kids back.’

Kris and the now 74-year-old went their separate ways, but their daughters were unfazed by the mixup.

‘So we both left in our own cars and the kids never made it home,’ she said. ‘So yeah, they were okay. They were playing on the Christmas tree lot, waiting for us to realize that we left them there.’

But Kendall and Kylie have long forgiven their mom for the accident, as Kris has a close bond with all six of her kids.

On Mother’s Day, the reality star took a moment to honor her ‘wonderful children’ Kourtney Kardashian, 45, Kim, Khloe, Rob Kardashian, 37, Kendall, 28 and Kylie, 26.

‘Being your mom has been the most incredible journey of my entire life, and everything I ever prayed for…. every day I am so grateful and feel so blessed for this life we live… all of the laughter, the love, the incredible moments we’ve shared and the magical memories we have created as a family,’ Kris wrote on Instagram. ‘You are my pride and joy, and I cherish each of you more than you will ever know. I am so proud of my daughters who have become moms themselves. Watching you blossom, and grow and also nurture, raise, teach and love your own children is one of the most fulfilling experiences for me as a mom and a grandmother. I see how much you give of yourselves, and I am in awe of your patience and dedication to your babies.’

She also praised her 13 grandkids, adding that ‘being a grandmother is such a fabulous, magical, and special experience, and it allows me to relive the beautiful moments I had with you all when you were little.’

‘It’s like having a second chance to enjoy all the best parts of what I treasure most!!!,’ Kris continued. ‘The delicious times I share with my grandchildren remind me every day how blessed I am and how full my heart is. I love you more than words can describe.’

Back in 2019, Kylie- who shares daughter Stormi, 6, and son Aire, 2, with ex-boyfriend Travis Scott- reflected on how her connection with Kris has grown since becoming a mom herself.

‘When I became a mother, my perspective on life completely changed, and so did how I look at my own mom and appreciate all the things that she’s done for me, the Kylie Cosmetics founder told Harper’s Bazaar Arabia, ‘Now I can understand the way that she feels about me, the way that she loves me, and how strong her love is for all her kids, because of how obsessed I am with Stormi.’

Kris chimed in that she and Kylie have always been ‘very connected emotionally and spiritually’ and have an ‘incredibly strong bond.’

‘For me, I just want her to know that I’m always here to guide her and help her with whatever she needs, rather than it always being, you know, the way it used to be back in the day,’ the businesswoman noted. ‘Our relationship changes every few years.’
